Youth Enthusiasm Glorifying Peace


      At the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, from April 24 to 26, 2025, a contest titled "Youth Enthusiasm Glorifying Peace" and an "Open Doors Day" were held for graduates of specialized music and art schools, as well as for 2025 graduates.
     This event was organized with the aim of discovering the talents and developing the creative abilities of young musicians and vocalists of our country, as well as increasing their social activity. Graduates of all specialized music and art schools in Turkmenistan took part in the contest. They competed in various nominations, including playing national, stringed, and percussion musical instruments, bagshi art, solo singing, musicology, and musical composition. To the program of the contest participants exemplary works by Turkmen and foreign composers were included.
     The jury highly evaluated the preparation of the contestants, noting their high level of performance and artistic mastery, as well as their culture of performance. The winners of the contest were also awarded with diplomas, honorary certificates, and memorable gifts.
     In the "Turkmen National Musical Instruments" specialty, first place was taken by Shatlykberdi Ishanberdiyev, second place – Davut Gulbayev, both from the Balkan Velayat Specialized School of Arts, and third place – Sapa Altiyev, a student of the Sahy Jepbarov School of Arts of Arkadag City. Second place in the "Folk Musical Instruments" specialty was taken by Bayrammuradov Hakmyrat, a student of the Yolaman Hummayev Mary Velayat Special Music School, Chariyev Kadyrjan, a student of the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Special Music School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, and Merdan Ismailov, a student of the Special School of Arts of Lebap Velayat. In the "Wind and Percussion Musical Instruments" specialty, first place was taken by Kerim Annalov, a student of the Special Music Boarding School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, second place – Aynur Agayeva, a student of the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Special Music School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, and Muhammetresul Shadurdyev, a student of the Special Music Boarding School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, third place – Gulzada Meredova, a student of the Special School of Arts of Balkan Velayat, Suleyman Atahanov, a student of the M. Garliyev Special School of Arts of Dashoguz Velayat, and Umidbek Ulugbekov, a student of the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Special Music School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory. In the "Solo Singing" specialty, second place was taken by a student of Special School of Arts of Lebap Velayat Enejan Sarsynova, and third place – student of Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Special Music School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory Rejepmyrat Kakamyradov. In the "Composition" specialty, first place was taken by Ylyas Artykov Yhlas, a student of the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Special Music School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, second place – Leyli Hudayberdyeva, a student of the M. Garliyev Special School of Arts of Dashoguz Velayat, third place – Seyitkuliyeva Akjemal, a student of the Special School of Arts of Lebap Velayat. Students of the Special School of Arts of Lebap Velayat Maya Nuryagdiyeva and Akmaya Rahmanova took second place in the "Choral Conducting" specialty. In the "Bagshy" specialty, first place was taken by Joshgun Matgeldiyev, a student of the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Special Music School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, second place – Bagul Dovletmyradova; third place – Shamyrat Ayjanov, a student of the Special School of Arts of Balkan Velayat. In the "Piano" specialty, first place was taken by Aynur Otuzova, a student of the Special Music Boarding School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory. Second place was taken by Kerim Nepesov, third place was taken by a student of the Special School of Arts of Lebap Velayat. Honorary certificates were awarded to Batyr Jorayev and Leyli Garyagdiyeva, a student of the Special Music Boarding School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory. Second place in the "Stringed Musical Instruments" specialty was taken by students of the Special Music Boarding School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory Leyli Salyhova and Nurana Nuriyeva, third place – Ayperi Borjakova.
      On April 25, 2025, master classes and methodological consultations on various specialties were held with contest participants within the framework of the "Open Doors Day" of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory.
     Master classes and consultations were conducted by leading teachers of the Conservatory. In particular: In the "Special Piano" specialty, participants worked with Associate Professor, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Orazgul Annamyradova and Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov. In the "Conducting" specialty – People's Artist of Turkmenistan, Associate Professor of the Department of Conducting Gurbanmyrat Babayev. In the "Turkmen Music" specialty – Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Turkmen Music Charymyrat Ahunov. In the "Folk Musical Instruments" specialty – Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Folk Musical Instruments Omar Igamov. In the "Wind and Percussion Musical Instruments" specialty – Honored Educator of Turkmenistan, Associate Professor Berdiniyaz Rejepmedov and Senior Lecturer Yazguly Babaniyazov. In the "Stringed Musical Instruments" specialty – laureates of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan "Golden Age of Turkmen", Senior Lecturers of the Department of Stringed Musical Instruments Nazik Saryyeva and Bahram Doliyev. In the "Composition and Orchestration" specialty – Honored Art Worker of Turkmenistan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Composition and Orchestration Suhan Tuyliyev. In the "Solo Singing" specialty – Associate Professor Yuri Sarkisov, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atajan Berdiyev, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Ayna Seyitguliyeva and winner of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan "Golden Age of Turkmen" Aman Amanov. In the "Bagshi Art" specialty – People's Artist of Turkmenistan, Senior Lecturer Shemshat Hojayeva and Honored Bagshi of Turkmenistan, Senior Lecturer Kerven Yovbasarov. Also open classes were conducted by: Candidate of Arts, Senior Lecturer of the Department History of Music Agajan Achilov on the topic "Ancient samples of Turkmen national musical instruments". Candidate of Arts, Senior Lecturer of the Department Theory of Music Zulfiya Jumaguliyeva on the topic "Turkmen Mukams". Besides, a musical and creative meeting was held with master composers of the Conservatory.
Such events serve as a strong stimulus for the younger generation, helping them believe in their abilities, contributing to the choice of a future profession, and becoming useful citizens of the Motherland.
